Le Marche

Le Marche is home to everything Italy has to offer – from sunny beaches to rugged mountains with plenty of art – Raphael was born here – and culture in between. A haven for fabulous cuisine, there is no lack of winemaking either. In fact, history takes us all the way back to the eight century and the Etruscans, known for being devoted imbibers. Montepulciano and Sangiovese are its most popular red grapes while Verdicchio its white. There are 17,563 hectares under vine.
